Formnext will once again become the stage for intelligent industrial production and focus on the hot topics that are moving the AM community in 2024 and in future at a variety of events during Formnext.

Stage program
In addition to our content offering with Industry Insights 365 days a year, the accompanying supporting program of the trade show also offers concentrated technology presentations, the consideration of current and future applications with their advantages and disadvantages and the spotlight on important meta-topics through lively exchange formats with leading industry experts.

Leading Formnext exhibitors will be bringing their innovations and solutions to the Technology Stage. Every day of the event will showcase the latest breakthroughs in software and digitalization, materials, AM systems, advanced process systems, quality management, measurement technology, and services. Here, visitors will discover innovations and products with which they can implement Additive Manufacturing in their companies. On the Industry Stage, industrial experts and insiders share their thoughts on the issues shaping AM at the moment, such as sustainability and industrialization. These and other focus subjects will be introduced in keynotes, explored in greater detail in “Expert Insights” sessions, and discussed further in panels. Also set for the Industry Stage are areas like AI and the industrial metaverse, DfAM (Design for AM), business opportunities, start-ups and funding, and current meta-topics such as data management and security, emerging technologies, the skilled worker shortage, and supply chain resilience.

In conveniently scheduled topic blocks, the Application Stage presents exciting and trend-setting examples of how AM is being used in specific industries. Mechanical and plant engineering, the automotive or aerospace industries, electronics, packaging, tool- and mold-making, automation, and robotics are just a few of the leading subjects on the agenda. Applications from the realms of medicine and dentistry will also be a topic of focus this year.

Events and showcases
Supplemented by showcases, awards and challenges, seminars, symposia and forums, which are designed and organized in cooperation with our partners such as VDMA, ACAM, BE-AM or ASTM, participants will experience a unique program for knowledge transfer, know-how building and networking.
