International and national air transport can also be easily accessed:
Düsseldorf airport can be reached by car in about 45 minutes or from Bochum Main Station by ICE in 33 minutes,
by the local rail service (RE 1) in 35, or by the urban rail service (S-Bahn) in 56 minutes.
A sixty-minute drive will take you to the airports of Münster/Osnabrück or Cologne/Bonn.
Rather nearer is the regional airport in Dortmund, where scheduled flights are available to and from,
e.g., Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, London, Munich, Nuremberg, Paris and Stuttgart.

Coming from the A40 take the motorway exit "RuhrCongress“/ „Stadion".
a) Multi-storey car park “Stadionring” (3,50 €/ day)
Then follow the signposting to the multi-storey car park.
Turn left at the traffic lights, straight into the multi-storey.
The way to the “RuhrCongress Bochum” is well signposted.
b) Underground car park of the “Renaissance Bochum Hotel” (1,00 €/ h; from 8h 8,00 €/ day)
Caution: please do not follow the signposting to the multi-storey car park, but:
At the traffic lights, drive straight ahead past the Musical Starlight Express (Stadionring) to the roundabout.
At the roundabout take the third exit into Küpperstraße.
Please follow the signposting to the underground car park.
