High Power Fans and Blowers
NMB Minebea has develloped a new series of Fans and Blowers with high efficiency and high air flow. The aerodynamic design together with the optimized motor performance generates an efficiency of more than 50%. This is more than 30% higher than the efficiency of a standard fan. This is not only motor efficiency but the total efficiency of the ratio of airflow performance at the working point and input of electrical power. The impeller design is optimized to reduce unnecessary turbulences, but even though when delivering 600 liter air per second the aerodynamic noise cannot be totally avoided. On the other hand this fans will only be used in applications where the high airflow and high pressure is needed and noise is not the main issue. The 3-phase motor with a new developed magnet material and the brushless design with 9 poles provides a smooth operation. The ultra high precision ball bearings from Minebea guarantie long life time and high reliability. Technical data: Dimensions: axial fans 150 mm and 172 mm diameter Radial fans 160, 175, 225, 250 and 280 mm Voltage: 24 and 48 VDC Airflow: up to 600 Liter per second.
