Quantity and quality of technologies in accordance with the technologies of 2010. This year's SPS/IPC/DRIVES has once again emerged as the mass of high-quality inquiries. Defined topics will be tested for feasibility and
payability and yield perfect synergy effects out of price and achievement structure. This is exactly what is important in this economic situation.

Dipl.-Wi.-Ing. Jürgen Rapp, Technical Marketing Manager,
AMK Arnold Müller GmbH & Co. KG Antriebs- und Steuerungstechnik, Kirchheim

We were positively surprised by this year's SPS/IPC/DRIVES. We arrived in Nuremberg with minor expectations according to the economic situation but we experienced a very productive atmosphere, which defied the crisis. The contacts were of extremely high quality and showed that the concept of a three-day trade show added up. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is and remains the most important exhibition for automation and focal point of our exhibition activities.

Tommaso Bazzaro, Marketing & Communication Manager,
ASEM SpA, Artegna, Italy

For an Italian IPC manufacturer like ASEM S.p.A. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is an incredible and unique occasion to meet lots of potential customers and be in touch with the evolution and the new trends of the market.

Klaus-Manfred Steinich, President,
ASM Automation Sensorik Messtechnik GmbH, Moosinning

Looking back at the recent SPS/IPC/DRIVES fair we are very satisfied with its usual high quality. Most of all, we are happy about competent trade visitors with specific applications, questions and demands. Although in comparison to the year before the fair had a slightly declining number of exhibitors and a smaller exhibition area, we did observe a surge in the number of trade visitors – despite the tense business conditions in 2009. This is another important factor for the high significance of SPS/IPC/DRIVES in the field of the electric automation. Like every year, our team looks forward to SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2010.

Manfred Zechner, Head of Sales,
ATB Antriebstechnik GmbH, Welzheim

In comparison with the previous year we could record a clear increase in visitors at the stand of the ATB group. The number of our contacts has even doubled and is way beyond the three-digit range. This underlines the importance of SPS/IPC/DRIVES as a professional show for the drive technology. The exhibition offered an informative platform of legal regulations for the energy consumption in the individual industries, which was then used by the visitors intensively.

 Silke Wieland-Kurz, Manager Marketing Communications,
Belden Electronics GmbH, Neckartenzlingen

For Belden SPS/IPC/DRIVES has been one of the most important exhibitions for electric automation for many years. It is especially pleasing to see the high proportion of professional visitors and decision makers as well as the quality of the contacts. SPS/IPC/DRIVES offers the opportunity to present new products and applications to our visitors and to develop new solutions for their applications together. We are looking forward to the next SPS/IPC/DRIVES.

Dr. Steffen Haack, Chairman of the Management of the division Electric Drives and Controls,
Bosch Rexroth AG Lohr am Main

In 2009 Rexroth deliberately positioned a modernized exhibition concept and extended its booth by 250qm. Having conversations before the exhibition, we were informed that almost all of Rexroth's customers used the current situation to revise their machines. The request for guidance and better understanding of the technology; was highly expected at the SPS/IPC/DRIVES.

SPS/IPC/DRIVES had surprised us very unexpectedly, in terms of participants and visitors. This had shown us, that a YES to the participation had been the correct decision!

SPS/IPC/DRIVES is the leading exhibition for drives technology. In a focused way, we are obtaining a great number of potential new customers. The short paths on the exhibition grounds and the compact supply secure a high frequency of visitors with high quality.

Reinhard Bertermann,

Even during unstable economic times, SPS/IPCS/DRIVES has succeeded in spreading the optimism.
This was both noticeable in the engagement of all exhibitors but also the record number of visitors.
With this reputation SPS/IPC/DRIVES has proved to be the most important exhibition for the electric automation industry. KOSTAL Industrial Electronics can also draw a personal positive conclusion.

One of the few exhibitions where one can actually get in contact with decision makers and users. Concrete projects, problems and solutions can be discussed here, not like many other exhibitions, which only serve for representation needs.

Eugen Kritzer,
MSC Microcomputers Systems Components Tuttlingen GmbH, Tuttlingen

With its focus on automation's major issues, the SPS/IPC/DRIVES has proven to offer an adequate communication platform for the innovative automation industry. These characteristics and the efficiency of the event are worth being preserved. At the same time, the trade show gains its attractiveness from an exemplary organization from which exhibitors as well as visitors benefit. The fair is attended by real experts searching for solutions to their concrete tasks. This has lead to a high quality of contacts over the last years. In our future marketing plans we will consider the SPS/IPC/DRIVES as our major event for the direct and personal dialog with our industrial customers.

SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2009 demonstrated once again its position as a central highlight in the automation industry and in the communication strategy of Schneider Electric. The exhibition is an important presentation platform for
innovations in the field of automation. The huge response, the high quality of contacts and the high share of trade visitors are a promising signal for the future and for the value of the exhibition. We are looking forward to next years SPS/IPC/DRIVES.

Our participation at SPS/IPC/DRIVES 2009 as exhibitor offered us great opportunities to inform our existing customers about brand-new product developments as well as to demonstrate our products and services to potential new customers – overall, the trade show was a huge success for our company.

Hans Sondermann, Sales and Marketing Director,
SEW-EURODRIVE GmbH & Co KG., Bruchsal

"A complete success". If there was a platform in 2009 which could mediate to the world in a concentrated way, that the companies defy the automation industry by a positive atmospheric picture and many innovation impulses shown in the global crisis expectation filled with hope, then it was this year's SPS/IPC/DRIVES. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is an important promoter for Germany. The set goals as well as expectations were clearly exceeded for SEW-EURODRIVE.

Heinz Eisenbeiss, Marketing Director Automation Systems, Siemens AG, Industry Sector, Nürnberg

The concept of success of SPS/IPC/DRIVES is the clearly defined exhibition portfolio. The trade fair is positioned as a product and component show. However, in recent years we see an increasing trend in expert discussions with visitors that goes beyond pure product features leading deeper into the concrete application of the customers and the resulting benefits. As a big exhibitor we are happy to provide the necessary expertise for such discussions at our booth.

Dr. Frank Stüpmann, President,
Silicann Technologies GmbH, Rostock

SPS/IPC/DRIVES was one of the first exhibitions in 2009, which generated significant positive trends.

Solveig Ackermann, Marketing,
STÖBER ANTRIEBSTECHNIK GmbH & Co.KG, Pforzheim

SPS/IPC/DRIVES is our most important exhibition in Germany and offers us an outstanding platform for the
efficient exchange of views with clients and interested parties within three days. The exhibition is visited very well and the contacts are of first-class. At the same time, SPS/IPC/DRIVES offers a great forum about product novelty in the automation industry.

We exhibited this year for the third time and we are extremely satisfied with both our exhibition results and
the organization and support of the exhibition. The quality of the visitors is very good, moreover it is very interesting to see the whole drives and control technology for three days at one spot. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is a very unique exhibition.

US Digital was pleasantly surprised by the increase in traffic this year at SPS/IPC/DRIVES and due to the success of the fair we are seriously considering returning next year.

Martin Kopka, Sales Director,
Vacon GmbH, Essen

Despite the ongoing economic unsatisfactory environment, we evaluate our participation at the exhibition as a success and will participate again next year. The response of visitors especially on the first day of the exhibition was brilliant and on the following days it was also beyond our expectations. The hereby possible customer contacts and the quality of the talks held, gives us reason for a small optimistic view into the future. The organization of the exhibition was, as always, convincing.

SPS/IPC/DRIVES was and is an important forum for Wonderware to be a part of, especially since we were right in the middle since day 1. 2009 was a good year again in terms of show attendance. We presented our news and facts and engaged in many interesting conversations with customers, partners and the press. SPS/IPC/DRIVES is a fixed event in our agenda. I look forward to working with the Mesago-Team again because I know that I can trust and depend on the support of a competent and friendly team.

Jürgen Wagenbach, Head of Sales & Marketing,
zub machine control AG, Kastanienbaum, Schweiz

What is more important? Quality or quantity of the visitors? This question doesn't arise at SPS/IP/DRIVES. Quality and quantity are correct and the expectations are exceeded.
