Welcome to PCIM CHINA 2010
Like PCIM Europe, which takes place annually in Nuremberg in Germany, the PCIM (short for Power Conversion, Intelligent Motion) event in China is an international meeting ground for specialists in power electronics and its applications in drive technologies and power quality. The event offers a chance to see the latest developments in power electronics components and systems.
Power electronics has seen vigorous development in recent years and is today one of the key technologies in the energy saving field; it has not only had a considerable influence on the development of technologies but can also be found in all stages of the energy flow process from electricity production to its distribution and use. The sector is showing unparalleled growth in applications such as industrial and consumer electronics, automotive electronics, computer and communication, medical electronics, telecommunications and energy management. This development has led to a huge and growing need for information, which is covered by PCIM.
The PCIM China Conference, the most important conference in China on power electronics, will take place in parallel to the exhibition. The breadth of topics covers power electronics components and systems as well as power converters, motor drives and motion control systems, and power quality solutions. The latest technologies and likely trends for the future are included in the programm. The PCIM China Conference is aimed at researchers and developers within industry and universities.
