Description
On behalf of the PCIM China Board of Directors and Technical Committee and myself, I would like to welcome you to the 9th PCIM China in Shanghai. The PCIM China Conference provides an annual international forum for comprehensive technical discussions in all relevant fields of power electronics applications. This well established annual meeting is offering an international open forum for presenting and discussing your latest results for future power electronics system development with participants from all over the world but a strong focus of Mainland China. Following the successful history of PCIM China, this Conference is targeting to gather academic and industrial researches world in the area of power electronics.
This years PCIM Conference is highlighted by: “Energy Efficiency, Sustainability and environmental protection”. The Conference itself is offering the right platform for discussing future devices and power electronics system development.
Energy saving, improved energy efficiency and environmental protection are ubiquitous topics in society, in China and globally. Many governments around the world have implemented priority projects to develop new technologies for using electrical energy more efficient and introduced energy labelling devices to demonstrate the energy saving potential.
PCIM 2010 will be focusing on advanced Power Supply Concepts for consumer electronics, computing, lighting and power management. Furthermore, ultra high power density converters, future motor drive systems and new developments for renewable energy generations will be highlighted in sessions. All of these applications are directed by new developments on passive and semiconductor components devices.
3 outstanding persons from industry and academia will present power electronic technologies for the next generation of power devices, renewable grid connected energy generation and the latest development on ultra high power density systems. A power electronic summit with executives from industry and academia will be the attraction of the PCIM 2010 show.
PCIM China 2010 will be an ideal forum for bringing together experts from power electronic components and systems covering a wide field of application.
