Invitation

PCIM China is an independent, clearly defined event with full integration and a constant exchange between its conference and exhibition. Conference delegates, exhibitors and visitors meet under one roof in Shanghai’s Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center.

Experts from industry and academia are invited to present their latest developments and the likely future trends at PCIM China 2010 Conference. PCIM China Conference is one of the most leading conferences in China addressing the fields of Power Electronics, Intelligent Motion and Power Quality / Energy Management.

The conference will be a meeting forum for researchers, developers and specialists from industry and academia to discuss and offer possible solutions for flexible, fast, reliable, compact and economical power conversion.

Submission Requirements

Possibility to Present your Expertise

Oral Presentations: will be held within conference sessions addressing key elements of the same topic.

Poster Presentations: authors will have the opportunity to present their posters during the conference.

Conference Language

English and Chinese
We recommend to provide an English and Chinese version of the summary of your abstract together with your submission.

Contributions

Those who wish to offer a technical paper for PCIM China 2010 should send their abstract/synopsis by using the online submission form. This has to be filled out exactly to the required information. The synopsis should be submitted as pdf-file in English or Chinese, minimum 3 pages. Please always include a short abstract in English and please use this pattern in word or pdf format.

Conditions of Acceptance

Authors are expected to secure registration fees. The speakers' registration fee is 170.00 EUR per paper. Speakers from Chinese companies/universities may register for 85 EUR. Branches and subsidiaries of foreign companies are excluded from this reduced fee. In case of doubts the organizer has the right to refuse the application or to charge the registration fee for international participants. The speakers' fee includes free participation on all 3 conference days, the conference proceedings and CD-ROM, coffee break and lunch, free admission to the exhibition as well as one ticket for the welcome party.

Selection Process

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Board of Directors and the Technical Committee to ensure a high-quality conference. Submitted abstracts may be selected for oral or poster presentation. Notification about the acceptance will be in February 2010.

Awards

The papers for the Young Engineer Award and Best Paper Award will be selected upon the paper submissions by the Board of Directors and Technical Committee and will be granted at PCIM China 2010.

Young Engineer Award
Engineers not older than 35 years may apply for a Young Engineer Award. The winner will receive 250 Euro.

Best Paper Award
The best paper of the conference will be remunerated with 250 Euro.

The text block "Summary" of the abstract format will be published after acceptance in the www version of the PCIM China 2010 Conference Program under each paper title as an important information for potential conference participants.
We recommend to provide an English and Chinese version of the summary of your abstract together with your submission. We will publish the short summary of your abstract in two languages for the final Conference Program.
