Description

Securing the hubs and increasing efficiencies of global and regional transportation networks from airports and seaports to rail and subway stations is crucial. How can government and transportation authorities increase security while facilitating travel and the circulation of goods in all sectors –from people monitoring at borders to cargo moving along transport routes? With cities of the future becoming a reality in terms of technology and efficiencies, what are the key elements for consideration in securing both hubs and networks? How are mobile technologies and managed enterprise services, such as surveillance, being deployed for tracking persons, assets and goods? What new systems, such as advanced ticketing, are bringing new efficiencies in the era of global mobility?
