Frankfurt am Main offers many sightseeing attractions. Deciding which one is the most extraordinary is no easy task. One really has to come to Frankfurt and see for him- or herself. As a rule, every tour begins with your arrival in Frankfurt. The city skyline, the modern landmark of this business and finance metropolis, stands at the ready to welcome visitors from afar.

At the city centre, one finds the historical Römer, Frankfurt Cathedral, St. Paul's Church and the Goethe-House within very close proximity to one another, yet still within sight of the modern banking district.  frankfurt_04.jpg

Close by, Frankfurt's museum landscape is on show along the Main River on the unique museum embankment. And if there is still time left after the exhibition do not miss to visit the Old Opera.

And lastly, let's not forget our very own apple wine. Frankfurt's local beverage of preference, also known as "Ebbelwei" or "Stöffche", is as much a part of Old Sachsenhausen as is "Frau Rauscher", one of Frankfurt's most-loved personalities, who has gained quite a reputation for giving patrons a spray-down with the garden hose during hot spells, among other things. frankfurt_06.jpg
