The E|DPC consists of an international conference with an accompanying exhibition. The conference is organized by the E|Drive-Center at the Institute of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS) of Friedrich-Alexander-University Nuremberg-Erlangen and the exhibition is organized by Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH.

Scientific Partners

Within the framework of a strucural development program the state of Bavaria supports the establishment of the Bavarian Technology Center for Electric Drives, the E|Drive-Center.

In April 2010 the center started its work under the direction of the Institute of Manufacturing Automation and Production Systems (FAPS). Its aim is to support Bavarian companies in an industry with above average growth prospects. Serving as an interface between industry and universities the E|Drive-Center concentrates the extensive research competence in the field of electric drive in the Nuremberg region. Its focus is on the analysis and optimization of applications and production process designs of components and systems in electric drives technologies.
